Grandmother representing the beginning of the dementia journey

01 — The origin

Dementia changes
the way we experience life.

Dementia is more than memory loss. It can change how a person experiences the world and how families experience the journey alongside them.

02 — The Mind

A lifetime
lives within
us.

The people we love. The places we've known. The moments that shaped who we became.

Memories surrounding a grandmother

03 — Memories

Some memories
stay close
to the heart.

A familiar face. A favourite place. A story told so many times that it becomes part of the family itself.

Fading memories representing dementia

04 — When Memories Fade

Memories become harder to hold.
connections fade.

Familiar names become harder to recall. Moments become fragmented. The world can begin to feel unfamiliar.

But dementia never takes away a person's worth.

05 — Reconnection

Connection can
exist beyond
memory.

Sometimes it is a familiar voice. A gentle hand. Sitting together. Being present when words are no longer enough.
